The Faculty of Law of the Lobachevsky University accepts applicants for bachelor’s and specialist’s programmes.

Bachelor’s programmes:

1. Jurisprudence;
2. Records Management and Archivistics.

You will receive a full-fledged education that corresponds European standards. The duration of the bachelor’s degree is 4 years. After completing these programmes, graduates receive a diploma of higher education and can choose either to continue their studies at the second stage (in the master’s programme), or to build a career, while having the opportunity to compete for a budget place in the master’s programme. This two-level system follows the principles of the Bologna system, which is common in Europe and North America.

Specialist programmes:

1. Legal Support of National Security
2. Forensic Science
3. Judicial and Procuratorial Activity

Specialty is a form of five-year education that is familiar to the residents of Russian Federation, at the end of which the graduate receives the title of a certified specialist. Specialty programmes involve both basic knowledge and narrow training in the chosen profile. The advantages of this type of education include the fact that graduates of the specialty do not need to enter the master’s programme, their level of education is already equal to the master’s degree. Upon entering the specialty programmes, the student will receive highly specialized knowledge and skills for professional activities.
